After grappling to grow its consumer base for awhile, Snap has lately managed to make some progress in that operation. Its previous earnings report displayed the firm managed to develop its DAU (daily active user) number 7% as compared to previous quarter. From its Q3 results launched this week, it seems Snap is carrying on to perform well. In the previous quarter, the firm managed to include 7 Million consumers. This week, Snap is claiming that its DAUs have elevated by 13% as compared to last year from the same period, with a sum of 210 Million consumers till date.
Snap also managed to develop its income by 50% as compared to last year from the same quarter, making $446 Million more than the earlier $296 Million. In general, the firm is still not profitable, clocking a loss of $227 Million in Q3 this year. That is still an enhancement from the $323 Million it suffered last year in the same period.
In prepared statements associatedwith the results, Evan Spiegel (CEO) credited the consumer development to the value the firm offers to the community. These comprise things such as a social map, an AR platform, a mobile content platform, and most recently, a latest gaming platform, he claimed. Snap has carried on adding media associates to its Discover platform, which now sees over 10 Million viewers every month in Q3 all over 100 channels.
